  • Holland: "Trailblazer" will aim to keep the fight standing and utilize his striking volume and versatility to overwhelm de Ridder. Holland will need to be wary of de Ridder's takedown attempts and avoid getting trapped in his grappling exchanges. With his UFC experience and strong grappling foundation, Holland should be able to handle de Ridder on the ground if the fight goes there.

  • de Ridder: A grappling specialist with strong submission skills. de Ridder will look to utilize his wrestling to control the pace and dominate Holland on the ground. However, de Ridder's recent UFC debut showed some vulnerabilities, particularly with his cardio and pace.

Prediction: While de Ridder is a dangerous grappler, his recent performance raised some concerns. Holland's experience, striking volume, and improved wrestling defense could give him the edge. Prediction: Kevin Holland via Decision

Beneil Dariush vs. Renato Moicano

  • Dariush: A well-rounded fighter with a strong striking game and improving grappling. Dariush will look to utilize his diverse striking combinations and potentially explore takedown opportunities.

  • Moicano: Riding a four-fight win streak, including a recent victory over Benoit Saint-Denis, Moicano is one of the hottest fighters in the lightweight division. Moicano possesses a strong striking game and a dangerous submission game. He will aim to control the pace and utilize his grappling to potentially submit Dariush.

Prediction: This is a close matchup between two highly skilled fighters. However, Moicano's recent momentum and impressive performances make him a slight favorite. Prediction: Renato Moicano via TKO

Jiri Prochazka vs. Jamahal Hil

  • Prochazka: The unpredictable "Denisa" is known for his explosive striking and unorthodox techniques. While his unorthodox style might seem unconventional, it's incredibly effective. Prochazka can generate power from seemingly awkward angles and possesses a knack for finishing fights with highlight-reel knockouts.

  • Hill: A powerful striker with knockout power in his hands. Hill will need to utilize his speed and power to counter Prochazka's aggression and land clean strikes. Hill will need to be wary of Prochazka's unpredictability and avoid getting caught in a highlight-reel finish.

Prediction: This promises to be an absolute firefight between two dynamic strikers. While Hill possesses knockout power, Prochazka's unpredictable style and explosive power give him the edge. Prediction: Jiri Prochazka via KO/TKO

Co Main: Merab Dvalishvili vs. Umar Nurmagomedov

  • Dvalishvili: "The Machine" will aim to impose his relentless pressure and relentless pace. Expect Dvalishvili to push the pace, utilize his strong wrestling to control the clinch, and wear down Nurmagomedov with a constant barrage of strikes. Dvalishvili has a proven track record against top-tier competition, including a dominant victory over former champion Henry Cejudo, showcasing his exceptional wrestling and cardio.

  • Nurmagomedov: The rising star will look to utilize his elite grappling skills, seeking takedowns and submissions. Nurmagomedov possesses a high fight IQ and will aim to control the pace and dictate the terms of engagement. He comes from an incredible lineage and has been dominant in his UFC career.

Prediction: This is a pick 'em fight, but Dvalishvili's proven cardio, relentless pressure, and impressive wrestling performance against Henry Cejudo give him the edge. Prediction: Merab Dvalishvili via Decision

Main Event: Islam Makhachev vs. Arman Tsarukyan

  • Makhachev's Dominance: In their first encounter, Makhachev showcased his superior wrestling and control, effectively neutralizing Tsarukyan's offensive output.

  • Tsarukyan's Improvements: Tsarukyan has undoubtedly improved since their first meeting. He's a more refined striker and grappler, with increased confidence and experience.

  • Key Factors:

    • Tsarukyan's Striking: Can he consistently land significant strikes and keep the fight standing?

    • Tsarukyan's Takedown Defense: Can he improve his takedown defense to prevent Makhachev from controlling the fight on the ground?

    • Makhachev's Aggression: Will Makhachev be as aggressive in pursuing takedowns, or will he be more content to pick his spots?

  • Makhachev: The reigning champion, Makhachev aims to utilize his elite wrestling to control the pace. Expect him to look for early takedowns, maintain top control, and unleash ground-and-pound to wear down Tsarukyan. Makhachev possesses exceptional grappling skills, with a focus on controlling opponents and suffocating them with his pressure.

  • Tsarukyan: A skilled striker with a strong wrestling base of his own. Tsarukyan will need to keep the fight standing and utilize his diverse striking combinations to find openings. He'll need to be wary of Makhachev's takedown attempts and avoid getting trapped in the champion's dominant positions.

Prediction: Despite Tsarukyan's improvements, I believe Makhachev will likely win the rematch. His wrestling is world-class, and his overall game has evolved significantly. However, Tsarukyan will likely put up a more competitive fight this time around. Prediction: Islam Makhachev via Decision or Submission
